Spring Cleaning, Silent Auction, & Family Fun Festival News

Spring Cleaning at Loma Vista begins this Friday, April 1st and we are not joking!!

Sherri Banker in charge of Lost and Found this year will be going through the collection of lost and found items in the cafeteria hallway this week. If she or her helpers can’t find a name identifying the owner then the items will be donated to a good cause. I am sure after all this rain that your household is missing umbrellas, rain coats, and even rain boots. There is a huge collection of winter jackets and some soggy sweatshirts. I see that a lot of our students attend Junior Guards as well as hit the slopes at Mammoth! Patagonia is also well represented.  If you are missing a lunch box or backpack the hallway is the place to look. During the Silent Auction an arty umbrella was recovered. The blond lady who was looking for it with small children in tow didn’t leave her name. That umbrella is in the office. The Silent Auction was an unbelievable success!!! Thank you to all the families and community members that participated. We will be seeing a refurbished computer lab and computer centers in the classrooms that much sooner! The Family Fun Festival has been moved to Friday, May 13th. There will be many opportunities to pitch in and make that event as fun and successful as the Silent Auction. Happy Spring Break,
